APPENDIX FIVE.
DEMONSTRATION:- The orbital periods (expressed in Earth days) of The Moon and Earth and The Superior Naked-Eye-Visible Planets are:- The Moon 27.32166 and Earth 365.256 and Mars 686.98 and Jupiter 4330.595 and Saturn 10727.160
To verify these periods, see The Planetary Scientist’s Companion, by Lodders and Fegley, Oxford University Press 1998, Table 2.4

During Earth’s orbital period, The Moon revolves
(365.256 ÷ 27.32166) = 13.3687 revolutions.
0.3687 x 360 = 132.7 degrees.
That is 13 complete revolutions + 132.7 degrees.
During Mars’ orbital period, The Moon revolves
(686.98 ÷ 27.32166) = 25.1441 revolutions.
0.1441 x 360 = 51.9 degrees.
That is 25 complete revolutions + 51.9 degrees.
During Jupiter’s orbital period, The Moon revolves
(4330.595 ÷ 27.32166) = 158.5041 revolution.
0.5041 x 360 = 181.5 degrees.
That is 158 complete revolutions + 181.5 degrees.
During Saturn’s orbital period, The Moon revolves
(10727.160 ÷ 27.32166) = 392.6247 revolution.
0.6247 x 360 = 224.9 degrees.
That is 392 complete revolutions + 224.9 degrees.
