Chapter 2. Lucy Letby Whistle-blower.
This chapter shows that Lucy Letby was “scapegoated” as a “punishment” for “whistle-blowing”, ie:- calling out doctors for unsafe practices, and advocating for the patients. She also fought as a feminist against male chauvinism on the unit, which brought male chauvinist wrath upon her head.

Chapter 3. Junk Science in The Lucy Letby Case.
This chapter provides references to numerous criminal convictions on the basis of “junk science”, where the “science” was finally discredited. I claim that Lucy Letby was similarly convicted on the basis of “junk science”.

Chapter 4. Did The Police and Crown Prosecution Service Lie?
This chapter provides many examples where the police and prosecution have lied, or hidden exculpatory evidence. I claim that the Lucy Letby case is a similar example.

Chapter 11. Vested Interests in The Lucy Letby Case.
This chapter explains that the doctors and the hospital management required exoneration for their own failings, and therefore found a “scapegoat”. The hospital was about to be sued for millions for the deaths.

Chapter 16. The Misconstrued Door Swipe Data.
The police had misinterpreted the “door swipe data”, so that Lucy Letby was often NOT on the unit when the police thought that she WAS on the unit.

Chapter 17. The Post-It Notes.
Lucy Letby had written some post-it notes which might, by a stretch of the imagination, imply guilt. But she wrote other notes stating that she was innocent. Forensic psychologists state that the post-it note evidence is “meaningless”, and should never have been introduced as evidence.

Chapter 18. Censorship in The Lucy Letby Case.
Now she is convicted, the “establishment” wants the matter quietly “put to bed”, and states that questioning the verdict would be “insensitive”, and might upset the parents of the dead babies. This is pious nonsense, and part of the “cover-up”.

Chapter 19. The Psychology of The Lucy Letby Case.
This chapter looks at the “psychology” of the case, ie:- “tunnel vision”, confirmation bias”, “groupthink”, etc.

Chapter 20. The Statistics of The Lucy Letby Case.
This chapter looks at the seriously flawed statistical reasoning in this case. For example, the jury only knew of the seven deaths she was present at. They were never told that there were actually SEVENTEEN deaths, and she was only present at seven of them (and so were various other nurses!). The reader is referred to Appendix. Notes to Chapter 20. Statistics – for a more detailed treatment of these statistical matters.
